- Tip 1: Nice and simple
You will always need to make it so easy for people to surf on your website and make it simple so they can reach whatever they want easily. When you organize your website in sections and each sections have special tabs, that's what I call organized. After you are done with all the arrangement, you can check which tab people most visited so you can highlight it and make it more visible and upgrade it too.
- Tip 2: Current information
You will need to update your informations if there is any change. Never leave an old information before because it can make it complicated for people and they will just give up and exit your website. When you have any information that you have to change, change it right away and show the people that you changed it so they could know and they could stay on the same page.
- Tip 3: Basic SEO (Search Engine Optimization)
SEO is very important these days because it leads the people to the websites that they want to surf into it easily. It is basically the bold words on Google, Bing, Yahoo, and others. It is kind like the AdWords that is some words that the managers study that people type so the manager's website comes first on the search of Google or any other searching websites.
- Tip 4: Expressive content
Your website has to be written in conversational style. Let people understand what you mean by each word you put. Don't make it so complicated or don't use words that people usually don't use. And you can also add a part of an online chat for people who have trouble in any part of your website so they can have a quick response from one of your employees who knows your website so well.
- Tip 5: Call to action
If there is something on your website that you had trouble with by people who are sending you a lot of emails about it, make a button linked to this item that will take them to another page or tab that will have more information about this item or service. Make it easy for people from the beginning so they will not suffer with those issues.
A prefect example of a successful website is Orbitz.
For example, you can go buy a flight to Las Vegas (you can choose one way or round trip). Within the same booking you can rent a car from the airport so you can use it in Las Vegas. you will not worry about paying cabs or Ubers. You can also book some the hotels and choose from low category to high category. Within all that, you can sign up for an Orbitz rewards accounts and get cash back or promo codes that you can use later one in different reservations.
After checking Orbitz website, I can conclude that their website include all the tips that I talked about and they are doing an amazing job with the customer service. You can have any questions and they will reply right away. They are so flexible and friendly in cancelling or changing reservations.
I would recommend to go to their website and book any trip you want. You can check the best deals and you can get benefits later after each reservations you make at their website.

I've never actually knew anything about Orbitz before I saw your post. You're right! I really like the design of their website. It's easy to navigate through, and it looks great! I also liked your tips. Keep up the good work!
ReplyDeleteI definitely agree with these tips. Tip #5 is super important. Websites should drive their viewers to action. This will increase profits for sure. Orbitz sounds like they hit the target. Great article, Omar
ReplyDeleteLove the layout of this blog post, the background definitely is a good touch! Aside from that, I do agree that Orbitz has a well-run website due to the fact that I am also looking for flights home and this comes up as a search I've used before. I feel that although their website is very bland, it fits well with the type of information it contains.
ReplyDeleteThis is Taylor Embry by the way, I'm not sure why it is posting as unknown.....
